Our bisque is poured using talcless earthenware ceramic liquid slip. Seams are then professionally cleaned, and imperfections are removed/repaired by hand. All pieces are ready for your personal touch using the medium of your choice. Recommended finishes for Cone 04 bisque: acrylic paints, artist chalk, oil paint sticks, or low-fire underglaze/glaze – the choice is yours, let your creativity flow. If creating items for food or liquid, please follow the directions provided by your glaze manufacturer to ensure food safe precautions.
